Leo Mol Sculpture - Tom Lamb

At the main lobby entrance, guests of the Mystery Lake Hotel are welcomed by the famous bronze sculpture of Tom Lamb. Other limited editions of the piece are located in the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC and the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden in Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg. One sold at auction in June 2007 fetching a hammer price of $41,000. Lamb, an intrepid bush pilot, helped to open the Canadian North. His company Lamb Air used the motto "Do not ask us where we fly, tell us where you want to go." We might paraphrase, "Do not ask us what we offer, tell us how we can serve you."
